Like other reference styles, Harvard referencing style is also a popular style using the author-date system for bibliography and in-text citations.
Text citation:
Do make sure, when you are writing text citation, write mainly of the authors’ last name and the year of publication in round brackets placed within the text. You should also add page numbers if it is directly quoted, without paraphrasing. For example: (O’Connor 1969, p. 32)
Reference lists: Reference lists, at the end of your paper, are made like this.
Hatch, JA 2002, Doing qualitative research in education settings. State University of New York, Albany.
Don’t forget to hanging and arrange your list alphabetically by author.
